This four-year MEng explores the core mathematics, physics, programming, and electronic and electrical engineering behind modern technologies — from smart cities to renewable energy. Building on our BEng, the additional, fully-integrated 4th year allows you to study advanced topics at Master’s level, preparing you for leadership roles or a future research career.

For applicants with Further Mathematics but not Physics, then Biology, Chemistry, Design and Technology or Electronics are preferred as the third subject. The fees indicated above are for undergraduate entry in the 2026/27 academic year. Fees will be higher for those commencing study in the academic year 2027/28 or later. UCL reserves the right to increase its UK fees in line with the government policy (including on an annual basis for each year of study during a course).
