A unique stream of sustainability modules runs throughout the course, highlighting how chemistry drives innovation in areas like renewable energy, low-impact manufacturing, and greener pharmaceuticals. You’ll also have the flexibility to shape your degree. Transfer between chemistry and medicinal and biological chemistry in your first or second year (subject to optional module selections) or switch between BSc and MSci routes. You can also choose to add an industry placement to your degree. Green and sustainable chemistry is a key research interest here.
