**Course overview**\ Natural Sciences is a degree programme that allows you to study more than one science subject for the duration of your degree. In your first year, you study three subjects, building a strong foundation and experiencing what these are like at university before selecting the two that most interest you to continue to degree-level. Our flexible structure allows you to develop core knowledge and skills in each of your subjects while exploring your interests, preparing you for further study or careers in those fields. The MSci programme has a further year of study allowing you to specialise further and enhancing your research and project management skills to prepare you for a career in research. Global challenges like energy, sustainability, and health require solutions that go beyond a single discipline. There is a growing demand for individuals who can integrate knowledge across fields, take a broader perspective, and bridge disciplinary gaps. The MSci degree adds a further year of advanced study to the standard BSc, focusing on one subject in your final year. No less than 6.0 in each element. As well as IELTS (listed above), we also accept other English language qualifications. This includes TOEFL iBT, Pearson PTE, GCSE, IB and O level English. If you need support to meet the required level, you may be able to attend a Presessional English for Academic Purposes (PEAP) course (https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/cele/pre-sessional/index.aspx). Our Centre for English Language Education is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK. If you successfully complete your presessional course to the required level, you can then progress to your degree course. This means that you won't need to retake IELTS or equivalent.
