The Natural Sciences BSc degree is designed for students with a passion for science across traditional subject boundaries, who want to use their learning to tackle real-world problems. This programme equips you with deep knowledge in individual disciplines as well as the ability to understand the connections between the sciences. Scientists who can tackle society’s most complex problems by integrating knowledge and skills from different science disciplines are in huge demand, so our graduates will be exceptionally well-placed for employment within emerging and future industries across sectors. The degree combines a rigorous grounding in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics, with bespoke modules exploring the interconnections between the sciences, enabling you to integrate knowledge for new and original perspectives. A core focus of the degree is on computational and mathematical skills, training you to code, model complex phenomena through simulations, grasp machine learning and AI tools, and harness the power of systems thinking. From day one, you will apply your learning to real-world projects. Combined with specialised skills training from the Entrepreneurship Institute, this will cultivate your abilities in analysis, creative thinking, leadership, communication, and complex teamwork, providing a significant head start in your future career. You have also the opportunity to transfer to the Study Abroad pathway and spend your third year at a partner institution before returning to King’s for the final year. This depends on you reaching a certain grade average and being accepted by a partner university. **Key benefits** - You will study a wide-range of innovative modules covering the full spectrum of subjects across the natural sciences (biology, chemistry, computation, mathematics and physics). - Friendly and supportive learning environment, with students from across the globe. - A holistic approach to developing interdisciplinary, innovative and agile thinking, so graduates are equipped to address real-world problems. - You will develop essential skills in self-management and personal development, including active learning, effective communication, team-working, and adaptability. - You will be exceptionally well placed to find employment and have leadership roles within emerging and future industries that address major global challenges. - 6th in the UK for employability (Times Higher Education Graduate Employability rankings 2025) - You will benefit from research-enriched teaching delivered by internationally renowned scientists and researchers in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in the heart of London..
