This interdisciplinary course is curated to build your confidence and nurture skills across a range of areas including finance, accounting, economics, business analysis, innovation, strategy and political economy. You will study the technical tools and learn the techniques required to measure and assess business performance, while also gaining insight on the effect of evolving economic and political contexts on the business sector. Choose to enhance your international and cultural understanding with optional language units. This programme combines the strengths of Alliance Manchester Business School with top research from one of the [UK’s top centres of study for economics](https://www.socialsciences.manchester.ac.uk/) . You will be able to identify the changes to the business workplace and understand the solutions required, utilising complementary social sciences insights to make informed decisions. Through mandatory and optional course units you will be able to understand financial principles and how they apply to problems, microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts and analytical tools and learn how companies utilise and gain financial advantages.
